Yes. Every locator is trained on our equipment, methods, and standards before working independently. Utility locating is a precision trade, and we invest the time to teach it right. If you’re dependable and willing to learn, we’ll show you how the work is done.
Field or construction experience helps, but it isn’t required. We look for people who are reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in doing accurate work. The right mindset matters more than a perfect resume.
Most work is weekday field work with consistent hours, though start times and locations vary by project. Some travel within the region is part of the job. We’re upfront about expectations before bringing anyone on.
We don’t always have open positions, but we keep in touch with qualified candidates as workload grows. When we bring someone on, we train them thoroughly and expect them to take the work seriously from day one.
Compensation depends on experience, certifications, and role. We offer competitive wages for skilled field work and increase pay as responsibility and capability grow. We’re straightforward about pay ranges during hiring conversations.
